Moving the blog to Posterous

My sideblog “Associative Disarray” has been on Posterous for quite a while now. To simplify my blogging and relieve myself from software updates, I decided to merge it with my main blog here and move completely to Posterous. Because I’ll point the domain www.jochen-lillich.de there and change the RSS feed source as well, you shouldn’t notice much of this change.

Well, maybe, a slight increase of new articles. But I guess, that’s okay with you.

Another year comes to an end, and it’s been a good one. So I say Thank You to all my friends and readers and to everyone who I met and had a good time during this year.

May the blessing of Christmas be upon you! Enjoy the holidays and have a good start into a new year called 2010.

Business is not only about the model

I just came across Johannes Kleske’s recommendation

and so I took a quick look at the web site of his recommendation, “Business Model Generation“. The header says:

What’s the lesson here? Business model is only one part of the equation. The most important part, though, is business execution.

Your claim and your message may be as great as it can be. If you fail at delivery, you’re out. (Not that I didn’t have to learn this the hard way myself.)

I hope that I’ll get the book anyhow and its content trumps their transaction handling.

Stufen

Associative Disarray

For those that wonder if I’m still alive because this blog surely is no sign for it, I’ll have to clear up a change in publishing policy. I decided to from now on use this blog for the more polished, serious posts only.

And it looks that I never made public that there’s another blog where I post the more casual, random things: It’s called Associative Disarray and it’s hosted by Posterous.

Especially for those Tumblelog-style posts with quotes, pictures and other things mostly found at other websites, Posterous is great. With tools like the Posterous bookmarklet and the Share-a-licious Firefox addon, it’s very easy to build a lively entry stream. Go on over, take a look and subscribe!
